Key facts
- Minimum withdrawal is 10 USDC.
- Only the available balance can be withdrawn, not margin in open positions.
- Every withdrawal needs your real wallet signature; the session key cannot withdraw.
- Queued payouts become withdrawable once they are paid out.
Step by step
- Open the terminal and connect the wallet you trade with.
- Check Available under Balance & deposit. That is the amount you can withdraw.
- Enter an amount of at least 10 USDC under Withdraw and click the button.
- Your wallet shows a signature request. Sign it. No gas is needed for this signature.
- The USDC arrives in your Hyperliquid spot balance for the same wallet address.
What you can and cannot withdraw
| Balance | Withdrawable? |
|---|---|
| Available balance | Yes, any time (minimum 10 USDC) |
| Margin in open positions | No. Close the position first. |
| Queued payouts | Not yet. They are paid into your balance as the pool refills; until then you can still use them as margin. |
Read the payout queue explained to see why a winning close can be paid in stages.
Why your wallet has to sign
The session key that makes one-click trading possible is deliberately limited: it can open and close positions but it cannot withdraw. Withdrawals always require the wallet that owns the account, so even if someone copied the session key from your browser, they could not take your funds out.
Moving funds off Hyperliquid
Once the USDC is in your Hyperliquid account, you can use it on Hyperliquid or withdraw it through Hyperliquid's own withdrawal to Arbitrum and other supported networks. The Papertrade protocol also offers direct withdrawal routes to other chains in its own app; this terminal uses the Hyperliquid route.
