Key facts
- At least 10 USDC must arrive; smaller transfers are not credited.
- The first deposit pays a one-time 1 USDC account activation fee.
- Your personal deposit address is unique to your wallet and never changes.
- The terminal supports deposits from Hyperliquid spot and from HyperEVM.
Before you start
- An EVM wallet such as MetaMask, Rabby or OKX Wallet, connected on the terminal.
- At least 11 USDC for a first deposit (10 USDC minimum plus the 1 USDC activation fee).
- Your USDC either in your Hyperliquid spot balance, or on HyperEVM. If it is on another chain or an exchange, move it to Hyperliquid first.
Option 1: from your Hyperliquid spot balance
This is the fastest route and needs no gas.
- Connect your wallet in the terminal. Under Balance & deposit you will see Your personal deposit address. Click Copy.
- On Hyperliquid, send spot USDC to that address using the spot transfer ("Send") function. Send USDC, not another token, and make sure it is the spot balance.
- The deposit is detected and credited within seconds. If it does not show up, click Check deposit.
Option 2: from HyperEVM
If your USDC is on HyperEVM (chain ID 999), the terminal can deposit it directly.
- Make sure the wallet holds a little HYPE for gas. The terminal shows your HyperEVM USDC and HYPE balances.
- Enter the amount under From HyperEVM wallet and click Deposit.
- Your wallet asks you to approve USDC (first time only) and then to confirm the deposit transaction. The funds route to your deposit address and are credited shortly after.
Coming from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana or an exchange?
The Papertrade protocol also accepts bridged deposits from several chains, but this terminal keeps things simple and supports the two Hyperliquid routes above. The easiest path is to move USDC into your Hyperliquid account first (most major exchanges and bridges support Hyperliquid deposits), then use option 1.
Troubleshooting
- Sent less than 10 USDC? Amounts below the minimum are not credited. Send more so the total that arrives meets the minimum, then click Check deposit.
- Balance looks lower than expected? The first deposit pays the 1 USDC activation fee.
- Wrong token? Only USDC is credited. Do not send other tokens to the deposit address.
- Using a phone? Open the terminal inside your wallet app's browser so the wallet can connect.
Your deposit address is derived from your wallet address, so no one else's funds can land there and yours always goes to your own trading balance.
